Die Artikel sind immer gleich aufgebaut - Generelle Waffenbeschreibung - Talent Beschreibungen - How to get.

Chaterbox / Schnatterente (SMG) :

One of the most powerful weapons in the game is the Division 2 Chatterbox, the Exotic SMG that offers insane close range damage in The Division 2. Getting your hands on it isn't easy to do though because just like some of the other Division 2 Exotics, you have to pray to some random drops to obtain all of the Division 2 Chatterbox parts. If you want to grind towards the Division 2 Chatterbox parts, we've got everything you need. Read on for our complete guide to the Division 2 Chatterbox.

The Chatterbox is a P90 SMG, which should be familiar if you've played other modern shooters. Before we get on to how to find this Division 2 Exotic SMG, let's take a look at the gun itself. What do the stats look like, what talents does it have, and overall, is the Chatterbox any good?

With a 60 bullet magazine and 700 RPM, the Chatterbox absolutely shreds through enemies, especially if you unlock it at World Tier 4 so you have the highest possible damage. Here are the Chatterbox talents:

  • Incessant Chatter: Every shot landed grants 1% rate of fire to a max of 60%. This rests on reload.
  • Box Magazine: Kills with this weapon refill 20% of its magazine and grants a buff for 10s. While the buff is active, every shot landed increases magazine capacity by 1 to a max of 60. Killing a target consumes the buff to fully refill the increased magazine.
  • Blabbermouth: While holstered, reloading your weapon within 5s after a kill grants 20% rate of fire for 10s.

Essentially, the Chatterbox Exotic SMG has an endless source of ammo if you can kill enemies quick enough. Imagine using this in the upcoming Division 2 raid... you'll be unstoppable.

Getting your hands on the Chatterbox is going to take some grinding and a healthy dose of luck. To start with, you have to find three parts to the gun, which are all random drops from Hyena crates. So the first thing you need to do is farm a lot of The Division 2 Hyena key locations, so you definitely end up with enough keys to open a bunch of Hyena crates.

The first part of the Chatterbox you need to grab is the Loaded Canister. Each component is region locked, and the Loaded Canister can be found exclusively from Hyena crates in Downtown East. There's two Hyena crates during the Grand Washington Hotel mission, so go ahead and replay that a few times to loot them as much as possible. The first is in a small bathroom after clearing the lobby, and the second is to the right when you enter the rooftop. There's also another Hyena crate in the ground floor of the MLK Memorial Library under the stairs, but you'll need to wait 24 hours for this to reset each time.

When you've got the Loaded Canister, it's time to look for the Creative Mag. This is found in the same manner; loot as many Hyena crates as possible, but this time it has to be inside Federal Triangle. The only Hyena crate we know of here is in the Jefferson Trade Center mission, in the loading dock at the end of the garage.

Finally, you need to get the Modified Mods from Judiciary Square. We can't guarantee specific Hyena crate locations in this region of the map so you're going to need to have a search yourself, but we recommend tackling the District Union Arena stronghold a few times because you'll find a couple there.

Now before you can combine the three Exotic parts, you need the Chatterbox blueprint. Head to Downtown West and play the Bank Headquarters mission on Challenging difficulty. A new crate will appear in the vault as long as you have the three components, and it will drop the Chatterbox blueprint every time.

Now, simply head back to your Exotic crafting bench at the Base of Operations and craft that baby!

Liberty / Freiheit (Pistole) :

The Division 2 Liberty pistol is one of the best Division 2 Exotics in the game. It's only a sidearm so it may not seem as useful, but the Division 2 Liberty talents make it highly sought after. You need to find a number of Division 2 Liberty parts to craft it though - including the blueprint - and they're not easy to obtain. You need to complete a number of The Division 2 missions on tough difficulties, so read on to know everything there is about the Division 2 Liberty Desert Eagle Exotic pistol.

Like all Desert Eagles in The Division 2, the Liberty D50 Exotic Pistol holds eight bullets at a time and fires at 150 RPM. When you obtain the Liberty in World Tier 4 however, it deals almost 30k damage per shot which is an insane amount for a sidearm. It takes less than two seconds to reload and can critical strike enemies up to 30 metres away. Here are the three unique Liberty talents:

  • Liberty: Gain +100% damage to hostile electronics. While aiming, enemy weak points and hostile electronics are highlighted.
  • Blind Justice: After destroying an enemy's weak point or hostile electronics, your next bullet deals +500% weapon damage. If that shot kills an enemy, your magazine is refilled and grants +100% weapon damage for the entire magazine.
  • Independence: While holstered, destroying weak points refills 20% of your current weapon's magazine.

These three talents make the Liberty incredible at taking down enemy electronics like drones and robots, which the Black Tusk seem to have an endless supply of. You can clear out numerous enemies if you take down an incoming drone first, then click on a few enemy heads. If you want to get the the Division 2 Liberty exotic pistol, here's everything you need and how to get it.

Obtaining the Liberty in The Division 2 isn't easy. Firstly, you need to keep your eyes out for the base weapon, which is a level one High-end D50. This is a completely random drop so while you're playing through the endgame and grinding for the other parts to Kendra's Liberty, make sure you look out for a D50. One speculated place to receive it is at the end of the invaded Potomac Event Center mission.

Aside from the base weapon, the first part of the Liberty Exotic Pistol you'll receive is actually during the story. Killing Kendra Nelson at the end of the Capitol Building level 30 stronghold will drop the Pistol: Trigger & Mechanism component, so if you haven't reached that part of the main story yet, play through till then.

Now there's three more parts you have to get that you won't stumble upon automatically. First up is the Pistol: Receiver & Paint Job, which drops from Captain Briggs at the end of the American History Museum in East Mall on Hard difficulty. Complete that and kill Captain Briggs, then move on to the next part.

Staff Sergeant Carl Wade will drop the Pistol: Sight & Rail at the end of the Viewpoint Museum mission on Hard, which can be found in Federal Triangle.

Finally, Master Sergeant Steve "Junior" Quiroz will drop the Pistol: Grip & Tags, along with the Kendra's Liberty Blueprint. He can be found at the end of the Space Administration HQ in Southwest. Again, you have to beat it on Hard difficulty.

When you've obtained a level one High-end D50 pistol, all four specific components and the Kendra's Liberty Blueprint, you'll be able to craft the Liberty Exotic Pistol as long as you've upgraded your crafting bench completely too.

Merciless / Gnadenlos (Rifle) :

The Division 2 Merciless Exotic Rifle is one of the most unique weapons in The Division 2, because it uses a completely different mechanic in combat. It's one of a number of Division 2 Exotics available and if you want to have the full collection, you'll need to follow this guide on how to get Merciless in The Division 2. Read on for everything you need to know about Division 2 Merciless, the Exotic Rifle.

The stats for the Merciless Exotic Rifle are actually less important than other weapons because of it's unique way of firing. With that said, it's a rifle so you know it's single shot and has an RPM of 260, along with a 30 round magazine. Obtaining it in World Tier 4 means it has a damage of around 16k and like all Exotics, has a +15% Critical Hit Damage buff. Here are the three Merciless talents:

  • Binary Trigger: This weapon is equipped with a binary trigger that fires on trigger pull and release.
  • Guerrilla Warfare: Pulling the trigger fires primer rounds that stay embedded in an enemy. Releasing the trigger fires detonator rounds that detonate all primers on the enemy it hits. Each primer detonated gains +75% damage per primer detonated. Only one enemy can have primers and at most five primers can be embedded.
  • Brutality: While holstered, landing a shot has a 5% chance to deal +20% damage as explosive damage.

This is a system similar to ones found in games like Anthem and Mass Effect, and can cause some serious damage if you trigger five primers simultaneously. We haven't got our hands on it ourselves yet so we can't vouch for how effective it is, but it sounds like it could easily become one of the best guns in The Division 2. But how do you get it?

Obtaining the Merciless in The Division 2 is different to most of the other Exotics, because you have to rely on random drops a lot more, rather than guaranteed drops from tough enemies. It's a Hyena weapon so the way you get the Merciless is by killing Hyena bosses. It's possible to obtain the Merciless on normal difficulty, but we'd recommend repeating Hyena missions on Hard or Challenging to increase the number of drops you get.

As for which missions are eligible, we'd recommend trying the Jefferson Trade Center and Bank Headquarters missions. There's also a chance you can get it from Daily VIP missions, but you can run and become more familiar with the standard missions available so your best bet will be repeating those.

That's all you need to do! Keep killing Hyena bosses until the Merciless rifle drops then when you get it, you're in possession of a gun that can deal over 1.2 million damage at a time.

Sweet Dreams / Süße Träume (Shotgun) :

The Exotic Shotgun is called the Division 2 Sweet Dreams, because after you fire a few shells into your enemies faces, they're sleeping and not waking up. It's one of a few Division 2 Exotics in the game, and as you'd expect, Division 2 Sweet Dreams is one of the best shotguns available in The Division 2. Here's everything you need to know about how to get the Division 2 Sweet Dreams Exotic Shotgun.

Before we get on to how to get Sweet Dreams in The Division 2, let's take a look at the stats. Obtaining Sweet Dreams in World Tier 4 means the gun will deal over 130k damage per shot, as long as you're close enough. It has an RPM of 70 and you can fire eight shells before you have to reload. It also deals +144% melee damage which is just insane, especially when you take a look at the Sweet Dreams talents:

  • Sweet Dreams: Landing a melee attack on an enemy after swapping to this weapon grants 35% bonus armour and applies the Sandman debuff. Killing an enemy with the Sandman debuff reapplies this bonus armour.
  • Sandman: This debuff prevents the enemy from using armour kits and from receiving healing from any source.
  • Evasive: While equipped, dodging reloads 1% of your current weapon's magazine.

Sweet Dreams is certainly a close range shotgun... not that there's any other types, really. Blast people in the face and punch them to deal insane damage, especially since you can prevent them from healing. It's not great if you like sitting back with a sniper, but if you can adjust your play style to favour Sweet Dreams then it can be a very useful weapon.

Much like Merciless, obtaining Sweet Dreams is really a roll of the dice. You don't need to obtain parts to craft it; instead, you need to kill Outcast bosses and cross your fingers it drops as part of their loot. You can increase your chances of receiving Sweet Dreams by playing Outcast missions on Hard and Challenging difficulty but ultimately, it's going to be a roll of the dice.

Some good Outcast missions to farm for Sweet Dreams include the Roosevelt Island stronghold and Potomac Event Center mission. Run these both a few times and kill the named Outcast bosses at the end, then cross your fingers one of them drops Sweet Dreams.

Pestilence / Pestilenz (LMG) :

Now that Tidal Basin has been released, the final two Exotics are in the game. The Division 2 Pestilence Exotic LMG is one of them and to be honest... it's actually quite underwhelming. The Division 2 Pestilence damage is much lower than would be expected for an Exotic LMG - especially compared to the other Division 2 Exotics - and the talents don't quite make up for it. With that said, it's still a key weapon to get in The Division 2, so if you want to acquire Division 2 Pestilence, read on for everything we know about the Division 2 Exotic LMG.

We've already mentioned that the Division 2 Exotic LMG, Pestilence, is underwhelming, but I hope you're prepared for quite how bad it is. At around a 450-500 gear score, it only deals between 4k-5k damage. Compare that to something like a 450 gear score M60 that can deal 20k+ damage per shot, and the Pestilence looks very puny indeed. It has an RPM of 550 too, which is somewhat slow for an LMG, which means it can't even shred that way. Here are the Pestilence talents:

  • Plague of the Outcasts: After hitting the same enemy 20 times, that enemy is inflicted with the Plague of the Outcasts. Whenever an enemy with Plague of the Outcasts is killed, they leave a toxic cloud for 10 seconds that deals 200% weapon damage per second to anyone inside and inflicts them with Pestilence.
  • Pestilence: This debuff reduces healing received by 50% for 10s. Whenever an enemy with Pestilence would be downed, they are instead instantly killed. The debuff is removed if the enemy is repaired to full armour.
  • Outcast Resilience: While holstered, gain 20% bonus armour for 5s whenever you are affected by blind, bleed or burning.

The way Pestilence deals damage is by enemies remaining inside the toxic cloud. The issue is that in PvP, players will of course leave the cloud immediately, while in PvE, the AI enemies will skirt round it. In PvE, the Pestilence talent won't even come into play anyway, because AI enemies are automatically killed no matter what.

Much like Merciless and Sweet Dreams, Pestilence in The Division 2 is a random drop. There's some slight confusion around how to obtain the Exotic LMG since it's only been in the game for a few hours, but there's two definite criteria to it; you need to be in the Dark Zone, and you need to kill a named boss.

From what we're reading on Reddit (we're still trying to verify and obtain the gun ourselves!), Pestilence can either drop from named Outcast bosses in any Dark Zone territory, or any name True Sons bosses in the same areas. The gun itself specifically mentions the Outcasts in the inscription text however, so it may be a bug that's making it currently drop from True Sons.

We'd recommend heading into one of the Dark Zones and farming landmarks until you clear ones held by Outcasts and obtain the weapon. Both Merciless and Sweet Dreams weren't too rare and there's multiple reports of Pestilence dropping, so it shouldn't take too long before you can get your hands on it.

Be warned that it will drop as a contaminated item, so you'll need to extract it before you can get your hands on it! Guard that helicopter with your life. Literally.

Nemesis (Sniper) :

The Division 2 Nemesis is the latest in the growing list of Division 2 Exotics, and this one is an Exotic Sniper. Division 2 Nemesis was added to the game as part of the recent Tidal Basin update and the method of acquiring this Division 2 Exotic Sniper is somewhat different to the rest of the rare guns available in The Division 2. If you want to get your hands on the Division 2 Exotic Sniper Nemesis - also known as an Exotic Marksman Rifle - read on for our Division 2 Nemesis guide.

Active Talent: Counter-Sniper

  • Shots fired from this weapon require the trigger to be held down to charge. Once charged, these shots deal increased body shot damage. If the charged shot does not kill the target, then the next shot charges quicker.

  • After aiming at a target, it is marked so that it can be tracked through the world. The longer the mark is on the target, the more damage your shots with this weapon will deal to the target.

Active Talent: Nemesis

  • Aiming at an enemy marks them as your nemesis for 15 seconds, letting you see them through walls.Your shots gain 5% damage to your nemesis for each second they are marked, to a max of 50%

Holstered Talent: Preparation

  • While Holstered, gain 25% headshot damage when scoped with your current weapon

Obtaining the Division 2 Exotic Sniper is a multi-stage process. First off, you have to progress your game to World Tier 4, then take on the Tidal Basin stronghold. Play all the way through in story mode until you reach the end, and you should progress to World Tier 5.

Next, take on the three new Invaded missions that unlock the Capitol Building stronghold again, and play through that. This will give you access to Tidal Basin again, but this time you can select which difficulty you play on. Pick your preferred difficulty - we'd recommend normal so you can get through it quicker - then play up until the section right after you destroy the first set of defences. Manny Ortega will tell you to patch ISAC into a laptop. Go upstairs in that building and on one of the bunkbeds, there should be a Black Tusk Keycard to pick up.

Continue playing through the mission until you reach the hovercraft cargo bay. Fight to the back of the hovercraft and when you're instructed to take a right turn and go through a door, go left instead and you'll find a door locked with a keypad. Interact with it and the Black Tusk Keycard will be consumed.

Go inside and you'll find a weapon crate containing the Adrestia SR-1 high-end marksman rifle. It might feel wrong to dismantle a named weapon, but you need to deconstruct the Adrestia SR-1 to obtain an exotic component: Marksman Rifle: Scope - The Tally. If you take a look at the inscription on the component, it mentions three other names; Klutz, Shorty, and Prime.
