Hello
I have recently upgraded to a high-refresh-rate monitor (144Hz/240Hz); but I'm noticing some input lag, especially in fast-paced games. I've tried enabling "low latency mode" in my GPU settings and tweaking V-Sync options, but the issue persists. I'm wondering if there's a more effective way to minimize input delay while maintaining smooth visuals.🙃
From what I understand, factors like frame capping; G-Sync/FreeSync settings, and even Windows power settings can impact input lag. However, it's tough to find the right balance without trial and error. I’d love to hear from others who have optimized their setups—what worked for you?🤔 Checked https://www.reddit.com/r/pcgaming/comments/6r9989/does_higher_refresh_rate_lower_input_lag/mlops guide for reference .
Are there specific settings in Windows, Nvidia/AMD control panels, or even monitor OSD settings that I should focus on? Also, do certain mouse polling rates or USB settings make a noticeable difference? Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you !🙂
